There's been so much fun on Instagram with #farmgirlvintage, I just couldn't stand to be out of the loop any longer! There's a sew along on Fridays at farmgirlvintagesewalong and different bloggers host each week.
I was so excited to make something from the book that I chose the Baking Day block because I thought it would make a good potholder for my kitchen. Here's my 6" block, blue marks and all, sorry about that! I'm going to work on finishing it, so I can start catching up with the sew along.
Now that I have an idea of how the blocks work, I'm going to switch over to 12" blocks and hopefully complete a sampler quilt.
Happy quilting!
I haven't been bitten by that particular bug yet but if I keep seeing all these pictures I just might have to buy the book!

That's what happened to me Ashley, just too many cute projects! The book is really nice, wirebound, beautiful pictures, great ideas.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed putting that block together, it was a quick one! I'm making the six inches blocks. It is quite the book!
ReplyDeleteI've got to check that book out at my LQS.
ReplyDeleteI want that book soooo much! I love seeing the posts.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the Farm Girl Vintage Sew Along too! Love Lori Holt & Bee In My Bonnet. I'm going to be a featured blogger on her Water Turn Block in September:)
